Strawberry Preserve

A rich preserve made with whole strawberries,340g

A rich deep wine red preserve made using 45% whole strawberries of two varieties: one variety picked for its fullest flavour and colour and one picked for its ability to remain whole during the cooking process. The initial sweet flavour is quickly replaced with a lovely tangy strawberry note.

Serve: Try spreading this on scones or pancakes, or stir in a little black pepper and use as a savoury spread in cheese or meat sandwiches. Mix with some lemon juice and use as a topping for cheesecakes. Stir into pouring cream or natural yoghurt and use as a sauce for desserts, fruit salad or ice cream.
